The core: The engine DentaCut-300


The CNC milling unit DentaCut-300 forms the centre piece of the “3-Step” complete unit.

It is based on our highly stable and CNC-system HIGH-Z that has been sold over 1800 times worldwide.

A number of improvements regarding the 4th axis, precision, electronic and software features had to be made in order to create a new CNC machine for everyday use and specialised in processing Zirkon. For instance guides and spindles are secured twice against penetration of dust. The connecting piece developed by us guarantees an almost 100% clean and dust-free work environment, even when hovering power is low.  The brushless HF-spindle is an established product with analogue controlled rotation speed of up to 50.000 rpm.

The machine offers an encapsulated bearing, a passive and active cooling system in conjunction with a hovering unit as well as an air-purge-function against penetration of dust particles. Hence it has excellent qualifications for a guaranteed long life when used within the field of prosthetic dentistry with its specific materials.

The construction of the Z-axis is individual and unique at the market.

When the Z-axis is lowered (milling in blank) the machine achieves highest stability towards the Y-axis, which is exactly the opposite of what all machines show, we know so far. (Largest distance to Y-axis, therefore highest instability of the mechanics during milling, risk of vibrations).

This feature and the fact, that we equip our machines with 2 driving motors along the largest axis (x-axis) and do not add belt drives, result in a milling unit, that achieves clean and first of all custom-fit results showing the least vibrations possible at the cutter.

The automated scanner for tool length as well as the 5-fold changing-station and pneumatic clamping of the HF-spindle complete the system with its highly precise 4th axis with 160.000 steps per rotation (precision rotating axis with high precision gearing 0,00225 degrees).
